Our client in the Greater Philadelphia, PA market is a Managed IT Provider and they are seeking a Business Development Manager / Sales Leader to join their team. Successful Managed Services sales experience is a must for this role in selling to businesses that have 15 to 350 employees. This person should feel comfortable talking with business owners and C-level decision makers about how their businesses operate.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overall MSP marketing efforts
  • Oversee the sales efforts to drive net new Managed IT and VoIP monthly recurring clients
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Lead discussions and sales events with groups of potential clients
  • Assist in cross selling efforts, including Cybersecurity and VoIP solutions

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales
  • Understanding how businesses operate and how technology impacts performance
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
