12333: Purchasing Assistant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant in Saint Louis, MO, to support our procurement, receiving, and inventory management operations. This role ensures accurate inventory accountability and operational readiness for our Service, Sales, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement: Assist with purchasing copiers, printers, IT equipment, and consumables; prepare and process accurate purchase orders.
Verification: Confirm part numbers, quantities, configurations, and pricing prior to order placement.
Receiving: Inspect inbound shipments, reconcile packing slips with POs, and document goods received.
Inventory: Support inventory tracking, storage, and reconciliation.
Coordination: Maintain organized records and communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
Qualifications
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills.
Technical Savvy: Comfortable using order systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tools.
Efficient: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: Basic knowledge of purchasing or inventory processes preferred.
