12247: Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a driven B2B Sales Professional to aggressively expand their market footprint throughout the Chicagoland area. While the territory includes a modest foundation of existing accounts to maintain, the primary objective of this role is the pursuit of net new business, making a proven track record of successful cold calling and prospecting an absolute requirement. We are equally interested in veterans with specific industry expertise and high-energy sales hunters from other B2B backgrounds who are eager to master a new channel. Compensation for this high-impact position is highly competitive and will be structured commensurate with your professional experience and history of performance.
Purpose:
- Develops new business by identifying and qualifying potential accounts; initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new product features.
Duties:
- Attract new customers
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying and qualifying prospects; researching and analyzing sales options.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of direct sales representatives and agents; adjusting content of sales presentations for specific outlet; developing promotional literature.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
