12234: Walking Technician

Our client is looking for a dedicated Walking Technician to provide on-site support across Manhattan, NY, with a strong preference for candidates who hold current certifications in their specific product lines. In this physically active role, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues while managing essential networking tasks such as configuring scan-to-email/file functions and installing print drivers. Because this position involves high-touch interactions in a fast-paced urban environment, a sophisticated level of customer service is non-negotiable, and your total compensation will be directly scaled to reflect your specialized manufacturer training and technical expertise.

Purpose:

• Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.

Duties:

• Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
• Sets up client networks, print drivers, scan to email, scan to SMB. Provides training to clients on devices.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
