12215: Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated OEM Certified Field Technician to manage a dedicated territory centered in Salisbury, MD, and extending throughout the Eastern Shore. This role demands an exceptional level of self-sufficiency, as you will be responsible for independently managing your daily schedule, troubleshooting complex hardware, and resolving networking challenges such as scan-to-email/file configurations and print driver installations with minimal supervision. Because you will be the primary face of the company in this region, we require a professional who pairs technical expertise with a proactive, disciplined work ethic and a commitment to high-level customer service. Your ability to operate as a “business of one” while maintaining sharp attention to detail and reliable communication is critical to ensuring seamless support for our clients across the Peninsula.

Purpose:

• Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.

Duties:

• Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
• Sets up client networks, print drivers, scan to email, scan to SMB. Provides training to clients on devices.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
