12110: Technician
Our client is seeking a Technician to service their Corpus Christi and Victoria, TX markets. In this role, you will hold a senior-level position requiring expert-level troubleshooting skills and the ability to support a comprehensive fleet of office technology products. You are responsible for the timely, cost-effective maintenance and repair of office equipment while serving as a primary driver of elite customer satisfaction within the region. As a senior member of the technical team, this role offers a clear pathway to potential leadership opportunities and management responsibilities for those demonstrating exceptional initiative and team guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Maximize equipment uptime through rapid response times and high first-call-fix rates. Provide targeted customer training to reduce user error and enhance client experience.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Support the development of the Field Service Team by providing technical guidance and sharing advanced symptom/solution insights.
- Asset Management: Strategically manage parts inventory and company resources to hit financial targets and deliver superior value to both the organization and our clients.
- Business Growth: Actively analyze customer environments to identify business needs, recognize upgrade opportunities, and influence sales growth through technical recommendations.
- Professional Communication: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while collaborating with customers, sales teams, and administrative management.
- Administrative Accuracy: Complete all service documentation, call-close details, and parts usage reports on time and with 100% accuracy.
- Service Integration: Provide precise feedback on equipment performance and customer meter readings to ensure seamless billing and fleet management.
- Team Support: Engage in supplemental activities and projects that bolster the strength and reputation of the service organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in high-level troubleshooting and repair of multi-functional office products.
- Certifications: While not strictly required, CompTIA A+ and Network+ (Net+) certifications are highly preferred and will be given priority consideration.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, basic networking knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills.
