11977: Warehouse Driver

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Driver for their organization in Orland Park, IL to deliver devices and services throughout the Chicagoland and surrounding areas. This role is also a Warehouse Associate that will have the following responsibilities:

Warehouse Associate

• Inventory management – work alongside Operations Manager to ensure inventory is in its correct place.
• Receive parcel and LTL shipments and check them in against the system.
• Pick pack parcel and LTL shipments.
• Use UPS WorldShip to handle outbound pick/pack.

Loading / Unloading truck

• Load and secure equipment onto truck using blankets, cardboard corners, and proper strapping
• Separate IOT from finisher and strap individually while maintaining integrity of equipment.
• Ensure trucks are supplied with proper straps, supplies, and tools needed for delivery / pickup needs.
• Unload and safely take equipment to designated area. This may include pushing, pulling, utilizing dollies and/or stair climbers
• Remove, load, and secure equipment from customers’ facilities, if applicable
• Obtain customer signature and date

Transportation

• Responsible for equipment during transport in truck from dock to dock and to location within destination.
• Effectively navigate from point to point to ensure time is not wasted.
• Coordinate with dispatch with route, arrival, and departure times from location(s).
