11903: Major Account Sales Executive
Our client is actively seeking a seasoned Major Account Sales Executive professional to join their team and take ownership of a select portfolio of named and major accounts in the Columbus, OH and surrounding market. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales expert who thrives in a strategic, solutions-driven environment and has demonstrated success engaging with enterprise-level organizations such as Fortune 500 companies, leading hospitals, and top-tier universities.
This position focuses on penetrating and growing a designated list of protected accounts headquartered within our regional market. The right candidate brings a well-rounded background in B2B sales and has the skills to navigate complex client environments, build multi-channel relationships, and drive long-term value.
Responsibilities:
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales, with a strong emphasis on strategic growth and relationship-building
- A track record of success with high-level prospecting and managing large, multifaceted client accounts
- Experience crafting and interpreting RFPs, bid specifications, proposals, and contracts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the confidence to lead high-stakes conversations
- Strong command of the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and lead qualification to closing and post-sale account management
- A consultative sales approach with the ability to identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and overcome objections
- A self-starting mindset, with resilience, persistence, and a strong ability to work independently while collaborating across internal teams
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead business development efforts across a targeted group of major accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Develop customized strategies to expand client engagement and maximize revenue opportunities
