Our client is seeking a qualified OEM Certified Technician to service the Burlington, VT market and surrounding areas. This field-based position requires a self-driven professional capable of working independently while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will hold current OEM certifications and demonstrate a strong ability to manage tasks with minimal oversight. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with generous performance-based bonus opportunities. A company-provided vehicle is also included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of copiers, printers, and related equipment.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage schedules, service calls, and customer expectations effectively within an assigned geographical territory.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Meet and maintain company performance benchmarks.
- Participate in ongoing product and technical training to stay current with industry standards.
- Install and upgrade equipment at various field locations (must be able to lift up to 60 lbs).
- Configure hardware and software components during installations.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Accurately document all service activities, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Properly maintain all tools, parts, and equipment used during service calls.
- Educate customers on the proper use and care of their equipment.
- Manage inventory of replacement parts and service equipment.
