11735: Marketplace Vice President

Our client is seeking a Marketplace Vice President in Houston, TX to overlook their sales teams throughout: Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Tyler and Dallas markets. The Marketplace Vice President will oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department and report directly to the Area Vice President. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and self-starter who is focused on creating solutions and solving business problems with a consultative sales approach and be a multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only based on important past experiences, but with the incorporation of new approaches and developments that occur in a Managed Technology office approach market.

Major Goals
Drive overall success and revenue growth for the Sales Department.
Lead and develop high-performing sales managers and team members.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and vendors.
Deliver clear communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Meet or exceed goals for revenue, gross margin, and other key performance metrics.

Core Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and lead sales managers and staff.
Set sales strategy, territory assignments, and performance goals.
Monitor performance through data analysis and adjust strategies accordingly.
Manage customer relationships and resolve escalated issues.
Collaborate with leadership to set quotas, develop budgets, and forecast sales.
Oversee operational efficiency and ensure policy adherence.
