10745: Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer for their organization in Parkersburg. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the installation of new equipment, care and maintenance of installed network equipment, and to maintain high standards of productivity, quality, customer service, attendance and professionalism.

Duties & Requirements

• Provide quality service and customer satisfaction in both an onsite and remote service role.
• Provide a high level of customer service through effective communication skills and IT knowledge.
• Accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain computer and network software and equipment.
• Document and maintain physical and logical network structure for customers.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through on-going needs analysis and technology road mapping.
• Promote departmental contribution through on-going learning by computer based, instructor led, and on the job training.
• Facilitate teamwork by aiding fellow technicians, sales staff, and home office when needed.
• Complete required paperwork neatly, accurately, and on time.
• Project a positive image through proper attire, communication skills, and personal grooming.
• Interact with the Sales department and provide I.T. technical training pertaining to digital connected sales.

Training & Experience Requirements

• Computer Industry certification or equivalent trade school, college, or experience.
• General I.T. knowledge in multi-functional device connectivity, desktop, server, infrastructure, and cloud-based technologies.
• High aptitude for software solutions, interpersonal and organizational skills, and capability to work in high pressure environments.
