Government Sales Representative is needed to focus on expanding their base of government accounts as well as work with their existing accounts in the Boise, ID market. Candidate must have experience working with Government, State/Local contracts in order to be considered for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and room for growth is available.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota through identification and closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities.
  • Proactively and consistently engage customers to understand the changing business needs of assigned set of customer accounts to identify upselling/cross selling and new product revenue growth opportunities.
  • Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Work with the Public Sector Team to research and identify opportunities within our digital solutions portfolio.
  • Generate demand through initial communication, presentations, engagements, and proposals leading to new revenue opportunities within existing and prospective government agencies.
  • Be the technical leader and presenter when meeting existing and prospective government agencies to deliver digital transformation messaging and capability.
  • Work closely with agencies to identify and understand key pain points and communicate how we can address these issues and provide value.
  • Develop and deliver strategic and innovative digital transformation proposals and recommendations.
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of Company’s products/services, pricing practices and selling skills to effectively ensure positioning and alignment of Company Business Services with assigned accounts.
  • Participate in assessments and the development of Statements of Work and proposals.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to client through solution delivery.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as the primary escalation point for any customer issues that arise. Proactively coordinates efforts with other internal teams and groups to ensure effective resolution.
  • Document sales activities using our CRM platform to prioritize territory.
