10428: Sales Manager
Our client is seeking an Industry Experienced Sales Manager in the Greater Twin Cities, MN market where their primary focus will be to develop and manage a team of Account Executives who sell print hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within a territory and/or an assigned account list. The Sales Manager will manage assigned resources and territory to insure long-term business development and sales growth. This includes planning, reporting, quota setting and management, and sales compensation planning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the assigned sales team, which includes:
- Leading, developing, and coaching current and new Account Executives to success
Developing and implementing strategic initiatives for the team - Monitoring sales quota attainment
- Monitoring staffing needs, interviewing, conducting performance reviews
- Monthly plans and reviews, submitting accurate forecasts, and ride days
- Manages a list of accounts and sell products and services. Responsible for achieving 100% of personal quota
- Upholds our client’s Core Values
- Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of company products and services, sales processes, markets, trends, competitors, and clients to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Conducts effective sales presentations of products and solutions offered by our client
- Promotes cross selling opportunities
- Utilizes CRM
- Develops territory plans to increase sales and market penetration
- Gains additional market share within assigned territory
- Uses initiatives to source new clients, including following leads, building a referral network, visiting potential clients and giving sales presentations
- Attends conferences and functions to promote their products and services
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent
- 3 years of sales experience or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a senior sales role mentoring other sales professionals
- Business to Business consultative sales experience selling business technology products and services
- Proven record of sales success
- Formal sales training a plus
- P&L experience
