10134: Director of Sales
Our client is seeking a Director of Sales for their organization in the Cleveland, OH to overlook the sales teams in the Cleveland and Columbus, OH markets.
Reporting to the President, this position is responsible for leading the Sales organization in achieving new business revenue, retention revenue and client satisfaction objectives. This position is a key leader in the Sales team and supports and plans strategy around new business growth and client satisfaction objectives.
Travel 25%-50% regionally, as needed
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership in developing highly engaged, high performance teams. Serves as a strong coach and leader to help team negotiate and close deals.
Develop and strengthen executive level relationships with customers. Participate in key sales opportunities and customer engagements.
Develops and executes sales strategic plans in support of company strategies. Develops and sets objectives on revenue targets for assigned sales division. Manage and maintain sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
Serve as trusted leader and mentor to staff and customers providing expertise on key products and solutions.
Serve as a key leader on the sales team supporting the President in accomplishing company goals and objectives.
Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Qualifications and Experience
6+ years’ experience in a sales leadership role
Bachelor’s Degree required
Proven experience deploying sales process and team culture
Experience managing department budgets and optimizing cost centers for optimal results
Experience scaling a smaller organization into a larger organization
Experience in account expansion and net revenue retention targets
5+ years of direct enterprise sales experience
