12173: Production Print Technician

Our client is seeking a Production Print Technician for the Chicagoland, IL market and their primary role is to support complex copier and production print equipment within our client’s customer base while ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed as outlined by the Management Team. This position is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing complex copier and production print equipment onsite and making sure all pertinent data is entered in the closing notes of each service call. This position is also responsible for providing clear and timely communication to their customers and our client. Candidate ideally will have certifications on Canon and/or Xerox Production Print devices, but open to overall industry experience. Networking abilities such as scan to email/file and installing print drivers will be part of the role as well. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and certifications on production devices. Bonus opportunities available, along with a company vehicle and great benefits.

Duties:

• Verifies equipment functioning by completing test operations; making final adjustments.
• Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Complies with regulations by adhering to codes, specifications, and rules.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
