11734: Technician

A direct manufacturer is seeking a Field Technician to support a territory that primarily includes Cherokee and Franklin, NC, with full coverage across Cherokee, Graham, Clay, Swain, Macon, Jackson, and Haywood Counties.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of self-motivation. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to service excellence are essential. An A+ certification is highly preferred, and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities of this position include the installation, maintenance, and repair of a multifaceted offering of office equipment.
• This includes multifunction copy/print devices, stand-alone copy and print devices and conference room visual presentation solutions.
• All devices supported may involve network integration with the customer’s network and communicate with other devices within the customer’s operating environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory.
• Technical vocational schooling desirable (electronics or electro-mechanical preferred), or experience in copier repair or repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
• Must possess or achieve Comptia A+ certification within one (1) year of hire.
• Must possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must successfully complete equipment pre-testing and training.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred.
• Valid Drivers License, and Automobile insurance within company guidelines.
