8026: Shop Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Shop Supervisor for their organization in Balitmore County, MD. The role of the Shop Supervisor is to ensure, through the supervision of staff, and through self-engagement, that all devices requiring pre-delivery installation are properly assembled, tested, and prepped for shipping in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise, Coach, Counsel, and Develop Shop Personnel
• Responsible for overseeing all equipment builds
• Project manage “large” equipment builds
• Maintain and repair all office equipment, including the demo room  devices, within the corporate offices
• Write and deliver performance appraisals
• Solicit additional shop support from field (through service management) as the need arises
• Repair Customer unts which could not be repaired in the field and have been temporarily replaced with a loaner device
• Repair freight-damaged devices
• Evaluate equipment to determine proper status (Resale / Reclaim / Wholesale / Disposal)
• Create / Maintain / Update Equipment refurbishing Process
• Hard Drive erasure / Hard Drive Destruction
• Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the shop
• Additional Duties as assigned
