12235: Technician
Our client is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to manage a dedicated territory covering the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, with a strong preference for professionals already certified in their specific product lines. This role is heavily focused on working with hardware while also requiring a strong proficiency in networking and software integration, such as configuring scan-to-email/file functions and installing print drivers. Success in this mobile position hinges on your ability to deliver a sophisticated level of customer service while navigating the boroughs, and your compensation will be strategically scaled to reflect your specific manufacturer training and technical expertise.
Purpose:
- Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
Duties:
- Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
- Sets up client networks, print drivers, scan to email, scan to SMB. Provides training to clients on devices.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills / Qualifications:
