11363: Logistics and Supply Chain Manager
The role of the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager plays a significant role in the success of the company. This role is responsible for ensuring that all merchandise (machine and accessories, parts, and equipment supplies) is readily available for sale and delivery. To do so, this role is tasked with ensuring the accuracy levels of all inventoried items; and is tasked with the regular ordering of said items to maintain smooth operational support of our employees and of our clients. Additionally, the role must ensure that parts are ordered, and warranties are processed in a timely manner to minimize resolution times for their clients. Lastly, the other main function of the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is to maintain efficient shipping capabilities by utilizing various methods to ensure the timely delivery of product to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper inventory levels for all supply chain items (merchandise, accessories, parts, and supplies)
- Conduct cycle inventory counts on merchandise and accessories
- Conduct quarterly technician car stock inventory counts to ensure accuracy
- Submit and monitor warranty claims with the manufacturer to ensure proper credit is captured
- Place parts orders daily to maximize resolution times
- Identify inventory shortages and recommend ordering stock levels
- Place orders as approved by executive leadership
- Receive orders efficiently and store in proper bin locations
- Create bin locations for items that have not been assigned to an available bin
- Ensure the proper “picking. building, and shipping” of equipment to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
- Pull equipment to ship to out of territory dealers to ensure timely delivery
- Track serial numbers, BOL, shipment tracking information and licenses when needed
- Manage all Warehouse/Delivery staff
- Work with Field Technicians and Field Service Manager to ensure proper paperwork is turned in for warranty claims
- Release daily back orders and assist in monitoring “Parts hold” calls
- Ensure all RTV (Return to Vendor) parts, equipment, and supplies are completed in a timely manner
- Oversee warehouse for proper inventory practices are followed to eliminate warehouse shortages
- Other Duties as assigned.
