Our client is seeking a Facilities Manager to work out of their Burnsville, MN location. This position is responsible for everything related to the facilities including lease negotiation and administration, coordination of refurbishment projects, and ongoing support for daily maintenance and repair of facilities. $2,000 Hiring Bonus!
What You Will Do:
- Manage facilities related matters for all 8 office building locations
- Planning and coordinating maintenance and repairs
- Point of contact for any repair/refurbishment projects – hire contractors for painting, carpet, electrical and other vendors
- Point of contact for build-out / major renovations – work with architectural and project management company partners as well as internal stakeholders to manage from concept to completion
- Manage vendor relationships including negotiating facility maintenance contracts e.g., cleaning, mechanical contractors, pest control
- Review and approve vendor invoices
- Review and be familiar with our building lease agreements
- Understand and adhere to all building lease terms including notification requirements, required maintenance e.g. (RTU) roof top units, and landlord financial responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for Landlord questions and employee liaison to report issues or concerns
- Physical inspection of properties quarterly and report to branch management, CEO and CFO
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of previous experience in this type of role preferred
- General mechanical understanding and ability required
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
- Ability to effectively negotiate and communicate with outside vendors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a time critical, demanding environment
