As our client continues to expand in the Brooklyn, NY market, they are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join their team and provide technical support with a focus on printer and related software, installations, and troubleshooting. This position could be a hybrid or in-office role with occasional travel to their client sites.
Job Responsibilities:
Printer Software Support:
- Provide technical assistance and support for printer software- and installation-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software glitches and compatibility problems.
- Address client inquiries regarding technical problems and provide effective solutions.
Installation Support:
- Assist clients with the installation and setup of printer software and related peripherals.
- Ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Client Communication:
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand and diagnose technical issues.
- Provide clear and concise instructions for issue resolution.
- Ability to convey technical information in a user-friendly manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing technical support, particularly with printer software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with printer hardware and software installations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
